Privacy notice

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This notice explains which personal data ANIX processes when you visit anix-software.com or use the ANIX demo at app.anix-software.com, why, for how long, and what your rights are under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

In short: the website uses no cookies, no tracking and no advertising. We only store what you send us yourself (a message or questionnaire answers) and a small amount of usage information about the demo. Everything is stored on a server in the European Union and is never sold.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is:

Xinyue Hu (ANIX)
Milano (MI), Italy
P.IVA 13107570965

DataDetails
WhatFor each network address (IP address): the total time spent in the demo, the number of visits and days, the first and last day of use, and the name of the organisation the network is registered to, looked up in the public internet registries (RDAP). We do not record which pages or results you look at.
WhyTo understand how much interest there is in ANIX and from which kinds of organisations.
Legal basisOur legitimate interest in understanding the use of a free public demo (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time (see section 5).
How longDeleted automatically 12 months after the last use from that network address.

Technical data

When you open the website or the demo, the server necessarily receives your IP address and basic technical information sent by your browser. This is used only to deliver the pages and to protect the service against abuse (for example limiting the number of requests per network). Request counters are kept in memory only and are not stored. Server logs, if kept, are deleted after at most 14 days. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Data stored in your browser

The website itself stores nothing in your browser. The demo stores a few settings in your browser's local storage, for example whether you have already seen the welcome guide or answered the questionnaire, and your own section library. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data. No cookies are used.

3. Who receives the data

Your data is processed only by ANIX. The server is operated by a hosting provider in the European Union, which acts on our behalf under a data processing agreement and cannot use the data for its own purposes. We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer it outside the European Union.

The website and demo load no content from other companies: fonts and scripts are served from our own server. Links to other sites (for example LinkedIn) are only followed if you click them; those sites have their own privacy policies.

4. Is providing data required?

No. Using the website and the demo does not require you to give any personal data. Without a name and e-mail address in the contact form, however, we cannot answer your message.

5. Your rights

You have the right to:

To use any of these rights, write to info@anix-software.com. We answer within one month.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority of the EU country where you live or work.

6. Automated decisions

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not create profiles of individual visitors.

7. Changes

We may update this notice when the website or the demo changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
